Gosh Michael why so sociable
Went to a movie yesterday and one the day before that.
Today I went to dinner at the Fifth Element (a kickass Indian/Thai fusion restaurant) with a few friends from high school drama class. It was a delicious dinner and good to see them again.
As far as I know I don’t have any plans tomorrow, and then on New Year’s Eve I work from 1-5. Woohoo.
I got Stacey, Melody and Katie's cards in the mail...

Yesterday I saw Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows with my friends (the movie was okay) and today I’m going to watch The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (in about an hour). So I won’t be back until past midnight. I may even come back on the computer when I get home. We’ll see.

Since I got season two of Community for Christmas I’ve been re-watching season one first in order to feel like I’ve “earned” the right to watch the second season.

Summary of two Christmases
Yesterday:
the “official” Christmas dinner with my cousins, uncle and aunt, grandparents
actually turned out to be one of the most normal get-togethers in a while
dinner was good, I was in good spirits especially when Patrick, my two cousins and I pretended to be carolers
I for the first time performed a song solo on guitar (it was Blue Christmas) and I also sang (with help)...

Basically the power went off around 5 a.m. or maybe a little before that, and for some reason my body seems to always wake me up even if there’s no sound that specifically alerts me to a power outage. To compound the power outage I was also terribly, terribly stuffed up and could barely breathe making it super hard to fall back asleep....
